The Student Health Centers
At Glenridge Middle and Winter Park High Schools
Recognizing unmet health care needs often get in the way of learning, leaders from the Winter Park Health Foundation (WPHF), Glenridge Middle School, Winter Park High School and Orange County Public Schools have established the Student Health Centers at Glenridge Middle School and Winter Park High School.
The Student Health Centers offer a variety of services to take care of students’ physical health needs.
Pediatric Nurse Practitioner services are available through the financial support of WPHF and in partnership with Healthcare Providers of Florida. The locations for the Student Health Centers are provided by Glenridge Middle School and Winter Park High School.
Services are available to those students within the Winter Park Consortium of schools whose families don’t have adequate health care coverage or access to a health care provider for their children. The Consortium includes Winter Park High School and its elementary and middle feeder schools.
The many medical services provided FREE of charge by the Nurse Practitioners at the two centers include sports and school physicals, as well as diagnosis and treatment of illnesses.
